Agriculture

This page is still under construction

The provision of Plant to process Palm Fruits and Cassava liberates a good number from subsistence farming. (At present the raw materials are sold for a very low price.) Now the Villagers can sell quality Palm Oil and produce Garri (a staple food of West Africa) from the Cassava Roots. Plant and provision of storage facilities will make Agriculture much more viable.

A local woman and her girl, skinning off the Cassava root. Garri, which is one of the staple foods in West Africa, is made from the Cassava. Local women come to the mill to process the cassava. The mill also serves as a social networking place, where these women come to talk, share and laugh at the various personal stories.
