Our Aims

Although Nigeria has many resources, especially the oil reserves, the benefits have not really reached the mass of the people

The Problems
The problems are threefold:-

Medical Project
Skill Centre
Agriculture

Medical
There are few existing medical services, often beyond the financial and geographical reach of the people of the area. The main health problems are malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and diseases related to water contamination and hygiene. Typhoid, cholera and a wide range of intestinal parasites are a common cause of debilitating and sometimes fatal diseases. The source of clean water in the village will reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of contamination. There are no surgical facilities in the area. Click here to go to the Medical Project page.

Medical Centre and Ambulance

Skill Centre

Employment and Training
There is little formal employment and no training programmes for the coming generation. Click here to go to the Skill Centre page to see how The Foundation is helping to provide skills training.

The Skill Centre

Agriculture
Despite a fertile soil and being an area where oil palms flourish and cassava crops grow well, agriculture is not developed. Click here to visit the Agriculture page.
