Make a Donation
By giving as little as £10 we know that we can start work, and almost immediately make a positive impact on the lives of may thousands in this area of Nigeria.

Where your Money is Spent
With projects coming to fruition we are seeking funding to cover materials and running costs. We will as always keep you up to date with where your money is being spent through this web site.

We aim to give regular feedback to our donors. We are anxious to be accountable, and for our funding to be applied appropriately.

The trust is run by volunteers so little money is lost through administration.

How to Donate
You can make a donation:

Friends of Mary Slessor
9 Castle Street
Dundee
DD1 3AA

If you would like to be kept up to date with the project then send in our Friend of Mary Slessor form along with your donation.

Increase the Value of Your Donation at no Extra Cost
However you choose to donate, please take a few extra minutes to fill out a
Gift Aid Declaration as this will enable us to reclaim tax on your donation(s) increasing the value of your donation(s) by 25p per £1 at no extra cost to you.

Volunteer Your Time
We are seeking volunteers to provide support to the Fundraising Team.

If you would like more information on volunteering opportunities, please email us at info@maryslessor.org and tell us your name, address, contact telephone number and what type of volunteer work you would like to offer - e.g. Fundraising, Office Work or Helping at Events.

Alternatively, you can telephone Ann-Marie Burton on 01382 220371.

We also have volunteering opportunities (in conjunction with V.S.O.) in Akpap Okoyong where we provide training in the following skills:-

  • Tailoring
  • Fabric Arts
  • Carpentry
  • Vehicle/Engine Maintenance
  • Vehicle Driving

Later, we will organise training in other skills, including IT.

For further information on the volunteering opportunities in Akpap Okoyong, please contact Dr Lawrence Mitchell at: drmitchell@maryslessor.org
